Music is very important to us at Brampton. We love to sing and play instruments each week in our music assembly with Miss Cheffings, our Music Lead, and we enjoy following the Charanga music programme in class. One of the highlights of our year is attending the Young Voices concert at the O2 arena. And we have found that we have lots of talented musicians through our annual Brampton's Got Talent competition! 

We are pleased to be able to offer private music tuition with Chris Spring, a specialist music teacher. Chris has been playing, writing, producing and teaching music for over 20 years! He teaches children and adults, from beginners to expert musicians who are Grade 8! 

Chris offers lessons for keyboard, piano, acoustic guitar and electric guitar at Brampton on a Tuesday and Wednesday. 

Lesson cost:

20 mins - £15 

30 mins - £20 

As well as lessons, Chris regularly organises performances for the children and has been known to perform for the whole school himself! 

To motivate his students, Chris awards a trophy each week to the Musician of the Week and a trophy based upon points accrued throughout the term to the Musician of the Term. 

Points are awarded for:

Filled in practice sheet and book brought to lesson (1 point)

Regular practice (1 point)

Good playing and effort in the lesson (up to 4 points)

Chris has a DBS check with the school and attends Brampton's safeguarding training.
