Meet Olly

Brampton's School Dog

We are thrilled to introduce our school dog, Olly, who joined us at Brampton Primary Academy in February!

Our furry friend is here to offer a multitude of social, emotional, and academic benefits to our students. Research has shown that having a school dog can significantly improve students' emotional well-being, reduce stress levels, and foster a positive school environment. Additionally, interactions with the school dog can enhance students' social skills, provide comfort, and offer valuable opportunities for learning responsibility and empathy. The presence of a school dog has also been linked to improved attendance and academic performance, as students feel more engaged and motivated in their studies.

We have warmly welcomed our school dog to the Brampton family and are thoroughly enjoying seeing the positive impact he has had on our community.
